High-Frequency Facial treatments are a non-invasive skincare solution designed to rejuvenate and heal the skin using gentle electrical currents. This treatment helps to improve blood circulation, boost collagen production, and eliminate acne-causing bacteria. There are two methods used in high-frequency treatments:

  • Direct High Frequency: Best for oily and acne-prone skin, this method delivers oxygen deep into the pores, killing bacteria and reducing inflammation. It helps in treating active acne, tightening pores, and promoting a clearer complexion.
  • Indirect High Frequency: Ideal for dry, sensitive, or aging skin, this technique involves holding an electrode while the aesthetician massages the skin. It enhances blood flow, stimulates collagen, and nourishes the skin, providing deep hydration and a youthful glow.

This safe and effective treatment is suitable for various skin concerns, offering long-lasting benefits with no downtime.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What are the benefits of High-Frequency Facial treatments?
High-frequency treatments help to improve skin texture, reduce acne and breakouts, enhance blood circulation, and promote collagen production. They also help to tighten pores, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing for a clearer and healthier complexion.
  2. What is the difference between direct and indirect high-frequency treatments?
    • Direct High Frequency: Best for oily and acne-prone skin, it uses a glass electrode directly on the skin to kill bacteria and reduce breakouts.
    • Indirect High Frequency: Recommended for dry or aging skin, the client holds the electrode while the therapist massages the face, boosting circulation and enhancing hydration.
  3. Who is a good candidate for high-frequency facial treatments?
Most people can benefit from high-frequency treatments, especially those with acne, dull skin, fine lines, or poor circulation. However, individuals with pacemakers, metal implants, or certain skin conditions (such as rosacea) should consult a specialist before treatment.
  4. How many sessions are needed to see results?
While some results, like reduced inflammation and improved skin glow, can be seen immediately, a series of 4-6 sessions is recommended for long-term benefits. Regular treatments help maintain skin clarity, firmness, and hydration.
  5. Is there any downtime or side effects?
High-frequency facials have no downtime, making them a convenient option for all skin types. Some clients may experience mild redness or tingling, but these effects subside within a few hours. Proper aftercare, including hydration and sun protection, is recommended.
  6. Can high-frequency treatments be combined with other facial treatments?
Yes! High-frequency therapy can be combined with other facials, such as deep cleansing or hydrating treatments, for enhanced results. Your skincare specialist can customize a treatment plan to suit your specific skin needs.
